   i’m having a doula as kind of my “backup” in case I get an old school or stubborn doc on call as well.

   @maddie0106, you get the option of getting 100% salary and 46 weeks leave or 80% and 56 weeks. We chose option 2. Afterwards, you can also choose not to go back to work for a year and still get your job back afterwards but you wont recieve a salary.

   WOW!! 12 months!?! Do you get paid that whole time? Or is it just to secure your job for when you come back?

   I asked you a few …
   I asked you a few weeks about VBACs, and I thought of another question. Do you think it’s wise to hire a doula? Well, I’m sure you do, but rather, do you think it increases your chances of a successful VBAC. My doc has already agreed to a trial of labor with some stipulations. I trust her completely and I don’t think SHE would jump at a repeat c-section. However, if another doctor happens to be on call, I don’t want them to pressure me into agreeing to another surgery. Would having a doula there

   I think baby Grayson will be 7lbs 14oz. Whats it like after 3 early babes to have one stay in for so long? My first was born at 40 wks 2 days, but then they were all early after him. My 2nd I had at 31 wks, and my last 3 at 35- 36 wks. Yup 5! And I had 4 boys then a lil girl. So if u decided on another I bet ud get a girl! I know alot of people that had 4 of one and then the other!

    i breastfeed all …
    i breastfeed all four of mine my first till 13 months, 2nd to 11 months 3rd to 23 months and then my last she was by far the hardest baby to breast feed, we only lasted to 6 months with her, she decided she didn’t want it, she is 8 months now and i am still sad that i am not nursing her

    We get long …
    We get long maternity leave here in Norway (12 months) and my husband is going to be staying home for the last 3 months with our baby so i think stay at home dads are great. Good bonding for daddy and baby. But whatever works best for every family is different, so do what works best
