My Boyfriend and I are looking into planning a wedding. He is in a wheel chair and I am 6’0 tall. I don’t know what kind of wedding we can have. I love to dance and he hates it but he promises to dance with me at our wedding. But I don’t know what type of theme or activities would be best that is not centered around dancing. We like to laugh a lot and have fun, It doesn’t need to be traditional… We don’t have a lot of money for it but most of the decorating, food and location I can take care of. Any ideas?
It is not at all unusual for one of the married couple to love to dance and the other hate it. The bride usually only gets to dance with her new husband once – the rest of the time she has her theoretical last dance with all the other men at the reception. The bride and groom don’t stay til the end either – so your guests can still dance the night away.
